Receptionist (South Bay) – Contract to Hire

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer all incoming calls and ensure that calls are directed appropriately
  • Greet incoming guests and notify appropriate staff
  • Handle routine incoming deliveries and inquiries
  • Keep reception area neat and free of clutter
  • Work with internal staff and external guests to coordinate conference room setups and reservations
  • Maintain daily spreadsheet of conference room usage, prepare invoices and keep insurance documentation updated
  • Maintain conference room schedule for Mountain View office and back up for San Mateo office
  • Take responsibility for coffee and beverage invoice coding preparation
  • Other Office Services related tasks as needed

Skills and Specifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Provides an outstanding first point of contact
  • Outstanding phone skills and experience with Cisco Phone Systems a plus
  • Excellent people skills and solid communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Punctual, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of productivity software, including MS Office products; experience working in virtual desktop interface environments a plus
  • Able to handle multiple assignments
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to approach situations and challenges in a professional manner
  • Thrives in a fast moving environment
  • Demonstrated team player, with the ability to work in diverse groups
